Customised call whisper is a handy little tool which allows you to recognise or distinguish a call or type of call.
It plays a short message to you (not the caller) prior to the call connecting. This message can be customised to anything you want. The most common uses for a call whisper would be if you wanted to play a message such as “sales” or “support” depending on which option the caller pressed. This would mean that you can answer the call depending on the callers requirements.
This could also be used if you had multiple phone numbers for different companies or brands forwarded to the same person or groups of people, this would allow you to answer the call in the correct company or brand name.
The call whisper can be recorded yourself, or you can use our free text to speech service to create your own call whisper. This is all managed easily via your online customer portal.
